Pauline Sauveur: [to be continued] – a workshop

□ Do you use the metro often?

□ Would you like to get to know your usual route from a different perspective?

□ Are you curious by nature?

□ Do you like to write or take pictures?

□ Do you have a few hours?

□ Did you answer ”yes” to at least one of the questions?

So sign up for a mobile workshop! By doing so, you will participate to Pauline Sauveur’s installation [to be continued] that will be created in a metro wagon.

You can either participate in both workshops, or in just one. Wokshops will be held in Finnish, as well as in English and French, if needed.

Deadline for registrations is Friday, October 2.

French author-photographer Pauline Sauveur will carry out two workshops in October 2012. The first one will be realised in collaboration with artist Laurence Bernard. The participants will embark on an imaginary as well as an actual journey with her along the one subway line of Helsinki, stopping and exiting the wagon to write texts and take photographs of their everyday environment from a fresh perspective. The results of the participants’ work will be seen in the final installation, revealed at the end of October.

The project is a part of the Social Responsibility and Design programme. The event is coordinated by the Institut français de Finlande, HIAP, HSL and HKL. Pauline Sauveur is an artist-in-residence at HIAP in the frame of Arts de Sign – Signalling art as Social Design in October. Arts de Signs and Social Responsibility and Design are part of the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012.
