Airi Triisberg

Airi Triisberg (b. 1982, Tallinn)

Airi Triisberg is an art worker based in Tallinn and Leipzig. Her activities include writing, curating and organizing. She is interested in the overlapping fields between political activism and contemporary art practices, issues related to gender and sexualities, collective working methods, self-organization, and struggles against precarious working conditions in the art field and beyond.

Triisberg’s recent projects include Untold Stories (in collaboration with Anders Härm and Rebeka Põldsam), an exhibition focusing on the representation of gender and sexualities in contemporary art, visual culture and the public sphere at Tallinn Art Hall (2011) and I Can’t I Have to Work…, a series of discussions about precarious working conditions and models of self-organisation in the art field at Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig (2012).
