Past Residents Teresa Flavin
Teresa Flavin is a Scotland-based children’s book author and illustrator. She is participating in a HIAP/Suomenlinna residency with the support of the Scottish Book Trust, Creative Scotland and the Arts Council of Finland.
While in Helsinki, Flavin will be working on the third book in her historical fantasy trilogy for ages nine and above. She will also be exchanging information on literature, publishing, education and book selling with Finnish professionals in these sectors; visit Töölö primary school and give a presentation for 5th and 6th grade students; do an event on IBBY International Children’s Book Day, organized by Finnish Children’s Bookshop.
