My HIAP residency will encompass work-in-progress textual writing, building curations and collections for exhibition, and exploring how to better present the staging of multimedia events. I will complete a first full draft of a text/photo book project called Interstate, as well as spending part of my time diving into new explorations in curatorial practice, including what various artistic communities in Finland are creating in the form of multi-valent approaches to producing and exhibiting moving image work. I will produce and curate a series of itinerant screenings, as well as a series of public talks on creative process.
