Jan Böttcher

Jan Böttcher (b. 1973) is a writer and a musician, invited to Helsinki by the Goethe-Institut and HIAP. During October 2013 Böttcher blogs about everyday life, people, scents, sights and sounds of Helsinki for the Goethe-Institut blog (in German/Finnish). In addition to writing novels, Jan Böttcher also published four albums with his Berlin based band Herr Nilsson and nowadays performs solo as a singer songwriter.
