Félicia Atkinson

Félicia Atkinson (b. 1981)

Félicia Atkinson is a visual artist, experimental musician and co-publisher of the independent imprint Shelter Press. She graduated with Honors from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris and also studied anthropology and contemporary dance. Her paintings, drawings and sculptures are often abstract, influenced by the American tradition of painting (Morris Louis, Cy Twombly, Richard Tuttle) and avant-garde figures whose work involves chance and randomness (Fluxus, John Cage, La Monte Young). Born in Paris, France, but now living and working in Brussels, Belgium.
