Ece Pazarbaşı

Ece Pazarbaşı has been active in the curatorial and art management field for 13 years, realising many projects dealing with the issues of urbanism, digital and analogue public space, food, participatory art and technology of the human body. Since 2007 she has been generating public space projects in urban and rural domains and since 2009 curating audiowalks in various cities under different concepts. Among her recent positions are artistic collaborator of Tell Me What You Eat and I Tell You Where You Live, Mobile Community Kitchen project together with Erik Göngrich, Wilhelm Hack Museum, Ludwigshafen (2014); presenting an artistic work in the context of Sticks and Stones, an intervention by David Chipperfield in the Festival of Future Nows at Neune Nationalgalerie Berlin (2014); realising a soundwalk and a food interaction with Storefront in Berlin and Minnesota (2014); curator of Walk Over the City soundwalk series in Istanbul (2013); Istanbul Coordinator for New Museum – New York’s Ideas City (2012): Istanbul; curator of Silent Shape of Things, ARTER Istanbul (2012); co-curator of 12/12 and Turkish Art Nice and Simple exhibitions at Tanas Berlin (2011–12) together with René Block. In 2015 she will be curating the 5th Short Video Biennial at P74 Gallery, Ljubljana. Pazarbaşı continues her artistic projects with CAMP – Contemporary Amplifier for Multidisciplinary Practices.
