Moving scape, mutated land is an exhibition curated by Clément Beraud that presents multiple perceptions of Finnish landscapes.

Participating artists are Pia Sirén, 7Odes, Baran Caginli, Francesca Bogani Amadori, Jaakko Ruuska, Sasha Huber and Nayab Ikram.

In constant dynamics, the territory in Finland differs, varies, moves, shifts, and slowly drifts to write new memories. Landscape, understood as geographical territory, has extensively affected people’s lives. On the other hand, people’s actions and political decisions have the power to influence how landscape is used and perceived. These mutual relationships create ongoing mutations and transformations. The fluidity of our territories invites us to create markers and expand our perspectives to include wider notions of home and belonging. Who is living and how? What are the dynamics? Who is using (practicing) the space?

This exhibition is a political gesture, a call for action to develop a collective effort in shaping a wider notion of landscape – one that distances itself from the hegemonic nationalistic landscape narrative – in the context of Finnish society.

Event: Site-specific walk performance by Francesca Bogani Amadori

Date: Wednesday 29 August 2026

Location: Eira & Hernesaari

Duration: 1h30min

Through site-specific walks, I invite participants to attune to the rhythms, tensions, and relationships that shape environments. These walks foster slow, attentive, sensory engagement and encourage a break from everyday patterns. With each walk, I aim to promote collective reflection, question dominant narratives of place, explore more-than-human perspectives, and examine how bodies, matter, systems, histories, and temporalities interact.
