Silent Sauna and Reading Event with Katya Lesiv
Dates: Saturday 18.4 & 25.4
Event Duration: 11:00-14:00
Location: Nallensauna Suomenlinna, Suomenlinna, E 16
The event includes a one hour silent sauna at Suomenlinna’s Nallensauna, and a walk to HIAP Gallery Augusta which will be followed by readings from Katya Lesiv’s book I am going home to eat mulberries from the tree and a visit to the exhibition.
Participation requires registration and attendance for the full program. The sauna event on 18.4 is Women’s sauna — inclusive of trans and non-binary participants and the sauna 25.4 is open to all genders.
The event has a reservation fee of 8€. If the cost presents any barriers to your participation please contact dana@hiap.fi to organize participation without registration fee.
Schedule:
10:40 – Catch the ferry to Suomenlinna
11:00–12:00 – Silent Sauna at Nallensauna, Suomenlinna, E 16
12:30–13:00 – Walk to HIAP Suomenlinna
13:00–14:00 – Readings from I am going home to eat mulberries from the tree, discussion, and herbal tea with light food.
