She received her BA in Fine Art and Contemporary Critical Studies from Goldsmiths University, London [2008] and her MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London [2012]. Recent exhibitions include Dead Rubber, UEL Project space, London; Dazed X Confused Emerging Artist Award, Royal Academy, London [2015], Lobby Part I & II, Oonagh Young Gallery, Dublin [2015] and Pavilion, Store, London [2014]. She was the recipient of the Royal Hibernian Academy Artists Studio Award [2012/13], Visual Arts Bursary Award [2015/16] and Wicklow Arts Council Artist Award [2016].

Snow's proposal for HIAP will enable research into particular buildings in Helsinki and across Finland: the Kamppi Chapel; the Lakeuden Risti Church; and the Paimio Sanatorium. She is interested in the discourse around contemporary sacred architecture, and the legacies of the works of Alvar Aalto and Eliel Saarinen.

Tamsin Snow's residency is realised in collaboration with Temple Bar Gallery + Studios in the framework of Helsinki-Dublin Residency Exchange Programme.
