The Dance and Choreography residency programme is administered jointly with Zodiak – Centre for New Dance also located in Cable Factory. The participants of the Dance and Choreography residency programme are normally employed in the dance productions at Zodiak and contribute to the HIAP programming according to their individual working plan.
Zodiak is a production, performance and event venue for contemporary dance in Finland. It provides a joint platform for independent Finnish dance groups and artists. Zodiak offers its audiences a versatile repertoire of the most interesting artists and trends in contemporary dance. Zodiak also functions as one of the five organisations in the national network of Regional Centres for Dance in Finland, established by the Ministry of Education.
