The work of Sofia Hultén (b. 1972 in Stockholm) includes objects, video and photography. Hultén’s practice is a continual investigation into questions of futility and the absurdity of our daily activities, which she carries out using objects from her immediate environment. She tests the behaviour of her objects and takes them through stages of metamorphosis, mediated through photographs and video.
