Juha van 't Zelfde (b. 1979)

Juha van 't Zelfde is an organiser of exhibitions, writer and dj. His interests lie in the new developments of art, music and technology. van 't Zelfde is currently working on exhibitions and programmes for De Hallen Haarlem, Stedelijk Museum, Stroom, Marres and The New Institute. He is also a guest programmer of electronic music for the Bimhuis, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ and Stedelijk Museum. He is a contributor in the national daily newspaper De Volksrant, writing about the social implications of new technologies.

During his residency, Juha van 't Zelfde will conduct research on the aesthetics and politics of fear, to be used as a part of the upcoming exhibition Dread at Museum De Hallen Haarlem and a book published by Valiz. He will also aim to establish better connections between his two home countries, Finland and the Netherlands.
